Shelly Woods
Founder & Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner
Shelly is a Level 6 and Level 7 aesthetics practitioner, Registered Dental Nurse and the founder of Skin Techniques. With more than 20 years’ experience in facial aesthetics and an advanced dental nursing background in oral surgery and implant dentistry, she brings extensive knowledge of facial anatomy, patient care and safety to her work.
She specialises in advanced facial balancing, full-face rejuvenation, dermal fillers, anti-wrinkle treatments and regenerative aesthetics. Shelly looks at the face as a whole, using proportion, balance and restraint to create results that complement each client’s natural features.
Helen Lada
Independent Nurse Prescriber & Advanced Clinical Practitioner
Helen is a Registered Nurse, Independent Nurse Prescriber and Advanced Clinical Practitioner with an MSc in Advanced Clinical Practice and a Postgraduate Certificate in Clinical Education.
With more than 20 years of advanced nursing experience and a background in medicine and general surgery, Helen brings extensive clinical knowledge to Skin Techniques. She specialises in anti-wrinkle treatments, skin boosters, polynucleotides and regenerative aesthetics, using a careful, evidence-based approach to assessment and treatment planning.
Jess
Advanced Skin & Semi-Permanent Make-Up Specialist
Jess holds NVQ Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications in Beauty Therapy, alongside Level 4 training in laser tattoo removal. She is also a qualified microneedling practitioner and semi-permanent make-up artist.
She specialises in advanced skin treatments, including microneedling, polynucleotides, exosome microneedling, carbon laser peels, advanced facials and LED light therapy. Her semi-permanent make-up expertise includes Hyper Realism Brows, semi-permanent brows and lip blush, alongside laser removal of unwanted tattoos and previous permanent make-up.
