TREATMENT INFO
Crow’s feet are the fine lines that fan out from the outer corners of the eyes, particularly when you smile or squint. Anti-wrinkle treatment in this area aims to soften their appearance by reducing the muscle activity that creates them. Please note: All anti-wrinkle and muscle-relaxing treatment appointments are subject to a consultation with our independent nurse prescriber to assess suitability and create a personalised plan with your safety and goals in mind.

Learn more
Crow’s feet are small lines that spread outwards from the outer corners of the eyes. They form as the muscle surrounding the eye contracts during expressions such as smiling and squinting.
They may initially appear only during movement, but can become visible at rest as skin elasticity changes. Sun exposure and the delicate nature of the skin around the eyes can also influence how noticeable they become.
What it helps
Part of our anti-wrinkle treatments, this crow’s feet treatment may help soften expression-related lines at the outer corners of the eyes. The aim is to reduce creasing while considering your smile and the movement of the surrounding area.
Crow’s feet are different from under-eye concerns such as hollowness, puffiness or dark circles. These require separate assessment and may need a different approach.

How it works
Muscle-relaxing treatment reduces activity in selected outer portions of the orbicularis oculi, the muscle surrounding the eye. This can lessen the folding of skin that creates crow’s feet during expression.
Treatment placement takes account of your eye area, smile and surrounding facial movement. It does not directly treat every cause of lines or changes beneath the eyes.
Our approach
We consider your facial movement, skin and surrounding features to understand what’s contributing to your concern. Your treatment plan is tailored to your anatomy, priorities and goals, with clear advice about the changes treatment may achieve.
Your consultation will be with our in-house independent nurse prescriber, Helen Lada, who will review your medical history, assess suitability and explain your options. Treatment is only carried out where clinically appropriate.
Your questions
No. Crow’s feet spread out from the outer corners of the eyes, while under-eye wrinkles sit beneath the lower eyelids. The causes and treatment options can differ. Where skin quality beneath the eyes is your main concern, we can discuss whether polynucleotide treatment may be appropriate.
It can affect movement around the eyes, which forms part of your smile. Treatment is planned with your expression in mind, but changes to nearby muscle movement or smile symmetry are possible and will be discussed during your consultation.
Crow’s feet treatment does not directly address pigmentation or hollowness beneath the eyes. Dark circles can have several causes, while suitable cases of hollowness may be assessed for tear trough filler. Neither treatment is appropriate for every under-eye concern.
These areas can be assessed during the same consultation. Forehead lines treatment and frown lines treatment address different muscles, so each area is considered individually as part of your overall plan. That being said, these three areas together are often recommended to many patients who are suitable.
