What is the Hydra-Diamond Glass Facial?
The Hydra-Diamond Glass Facial combines two complementary forms of exfoliation with hydration-focused skincare.
Hydrodermabrasion uses fluid and suction as part of the cleansing and exfoliation process, while diamond microdermabrasion uses a specialist diamond-tipped handpiece to remove accumulated surface skin cells.
The facial is designed to leave the complexion feeling clean, hydrated and smoother. Despite the “Glass Facial” name, results remain natural and vary according to your skin’s starting condition.

How it works
How does the Hydra-Diamond Glass Facial work?
The treatment begins by cleansing and preparing your skin. Hydrodermabrasion is used to loosen surface debris and provide controlled exfoliation alongside hydration.
Diamond microdermabrasion then provides targeted mechanical exfoliation using a specialist handpiece. The intensity and areas treated are adapted to your skin and sensitivity.
Professional products are selected to hydrate and support the skin after exfoliation. LED Light Therapy may also be available as an add-on.

Is the Hydra-Diamond Facial the same as a HydraFacial?
No. Hydra-Diamond is Skin Techniques’ combination of hydrodermabrasion and diamond microdermabrasion. HydraFacial is a separate branded treatment system.
Is the Hydra-Diamond Facial suitable for sensitive skin?
It may be suitable for some sensitive skins, but the intensity must be adjusted carefully. We will assess sensitivity, active irritation and your current skincare before proceeding.
Will my skin peel after a Hydra-Diamond Facial?
Significant peeling is not normally expected. Temporary dryness, sensitivity or light flaking can occur depending on your skin and the level of exfoliation used.
Can I have this facial before an event?
Many clients choose it before an event because downtime is generally minimal. We still recommend allowing time before an important occasion in case your skin becomes temporarily red or sensitive.
